This red matte lipstick is my new favorite, as well as my new go to when I want a bold, fierce, and jaw-dropping red lip. That being said, this lipstick has one of the smoothest formulas I have ever experienced. It applies so smoothly to my lips and truly only needs one swipe across for my personal desired red lip. Although I tend to have quite dry lips no matter what time of year it is, this matte lipstick would make you question if I was serious! It also should be noted that the longevity of this lipstick is impressive. More specifically, I apply it in the morning and the color looks fresh even at 3 P.M. I love that I don't have to constantly reapply (even after eating and drinking) as quite frankly who often has the time or even thinks about reapplying while they're busy at work? Finally, the packaging is also super cute and very sleek. It is also secure so I'm not worried about it popping open within my purse and making a mess.

I'm currently in my drinking water era so every couple of minutes, I drink water. The color itself does not transfer as it does get soaked up into your skin BUT you will find that it will look dry if your lips are dry. So fully hydrate your lips with a balm and or oil throughout the day because it will show every little thing that appears on your lips which is a lot. The color is very intense so I fully feel like a little goes a long way. You can build up the color for intensity. I like the packaging and design overall as it does feel like high quality. I've loved my other GVXE branded products too and I think this matches well with the check my glow palette too! Price point is good for what it is so I would overall recommend it if you're looking for a good matte!
