As a 90's teen who was infatuated with the one and only Gwen herself, this lipstick REALLY did it for me! It took me back to every other lippie that I've tried since I was 14 years old. This is the MOTHER of them all! The packaging, the color payoff, it's longevity, and THE COLOR is pure perfection!! Not too dry, and not silky all wrapped in one. The colors Original Recipe & Tragic Me were the perfect shades for my day to night look! Even my husband, who's heard about my makeup infatuation for over 20 years now has said that he loves these shades. Thank you, Gwen, for bringing back a piece of my teen years that can now be shared with the new generation that's helping us re-live the 90's, baby! Having a formula that is Vegan & Cruelty-free makes me love it even more!

I am usually not a fan of Matt lipsticks, because my lips tend to be very dry, but the GXVE Original Me High Performance Matte Lipstick is a very great option for that matte lip look without drying out your lips!It gives great color payoff without having to apply it multiple times to get the color on. I did not feel it drying out my lips out having to reapply since the color lasts a long time on my lips! Even while drinking my coffee throughout the day! The GXVE Original Me High Performance Matte Lipstick glides on smoothly without having to retouch it. I have Gwen's signature red in Original Recipe, which is such a pretty red! I am very happy with the GXVE Original Me High Performance Matte Lipstick abs absolutely recommend if you are looking for s gorgeous matte lipstick!

I have been a licensed Esthetician for over four years and a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and am always looking for products and cosmetics to improve my personal appearance as well as my skin health. My appearance is very important to me as far as my clients first impression.  I try all products on myself before I recommend to my clients based on skin type so I know how it looks feels and smells.GXVE Original Me High Performance Matte Lipstick is a new favorite!  I love the shape because it makes it so easy to angle the lipstick and use the pointed part to first line my lips and then fill in.  I always moisturize my dry lips in the am before applying and this one is definitely long wear, it lasted from the morning until I ate lunch and then I had to reapply. It feels smooth and hydrating going on and dries to a matte finish within a minute for me.  I did not notice any cracking.  Great product, affordable, I would recommend to all clients, all skin types and a great selection of colors.  My favorite is Tragic Me for daytime wear.
